Our property search in the Algarve started in July 2024 by using Rightmove from afar. This is well and good but at some point you need to make contact with a local agent. Someone that you can trust and someone you can work with. They need to find a property that fits your criteria rather than shoehorn you into one that they have. Olive Homes were well represented on Rightmove so I investigated their website. On there was their Managing Director's bio. It was a heart on sleeve bio showing passion, drive, commitment, honesty and integrity. I thought if this bio actually matches the person we are in for a good ride. David did not disappoint and was more in person and so our property hunt went into overdrive. Move forward to January 2025 and we are the proud owners of a beautiful villa in Vilamoura that ticked all and more of our criteria. . This would not have happened without the hard work and dedication of David and the team at Olive homes. Absolutely first class from start to finish. We have became firm friends with David and his wife Monica, who were our first dinner guests in “Villa Joey”. If your property search is about to begin, fast track it and speak to David. None of us are getting any younger.
